I’m a fan of…

For eyes -  Urban Decay! I’ve their Fun and Naked palette. Loving it to bits. I’m now hunting for Naked 2 because i really need some cool tone shades in my collection ;) The eye primer and 24/7 eyeliners are great too. I like Shu Uemura’s as well, they have loads of gorgeous colours for eye shadows. Oh! Canmake for some cute glittery eye shadows :P I use Eyeko’s felt tip eyeliner for my lids, it is the easiest eyeliner i have ever used to make wings. The purple one is not pigmented as the black one, unfortunately. For gel eyeliner, i use Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof eyeliner. I’m not really a fan of liquid eyeliners. Bobbi Brown for corrector and concealer, these have helped me to hide my dark circles without hassle. Drugstore brand, Rimmel for my mascara which does its job finely. Lastly, Shu Uemura for eyelash curler.

Cheeks - Shu Uemura and NARS (Orgasm) blushers.

Lips - Bobbi Brown all the way! (both lipsticks and lipglosses) I do use Lancome lipglosses (not really into it) and Maxfactor’s Lipfinity is okay, it stays all day. I can never really use MAC lipsticks for a long time else i’ll get a very dry lips but the Tinted Lip Conditioner works fine on me.

Face - Maxfactor’s Facefinity because the coverage is good and the shades match my skintone… i use Natural. I used to wear Bronze, it took times for me to realize that i looked orangey with it. sigh. I also use Shu Uemura’s Powder Foundation. For liquid foundation, it’s Chanel Vitalumiere. It’s the only foundation that does not make me break out… so far. Hey! i have an oily skin.

I have 3 Bobbi Brown lipsticks at the moment, 1 from Rich Lip Color range and 2 from Lip Color range. I bought Guava (Rich Lip Color) and Salmon (Lip Color) when i was in Hong Kong and Uber Beige (Lip Color) when i was in Singapore.

Guava - I have a Hate & Love relationship with this color. It is coral pink in color, can be too bright for me and sometimes look like bright red. There are times i can not pull off this colour, it depends on my clothes. But, it is a gorgeous colour itself. It’s so creamy so it makes applying much more easier, not thick but does give opaque finish once being applied on my lips. There’s no need to use lots of the product to get the colour. Like it but will not repurchase.

Salmon -The colour is gorgeous! It is peachy coral but does not work well with my skin tone, sometimes. It can make me look sick and tired. It’s creamy but i’m not sure if it happens to me only sheer once being applied, I have tried layering it but it worsen the condition, it emphasizes the fine lines and dryness on my lips. The texture is somewhat lousy. This problem however can be solved if i pressed my lips together or use my finger to help it set in. I will only repurchase if i can not find an alternative to this colour. 

Uber Beige - My favorite shade! I can wear this anytime, be it in the morning or evening. It goes perfect together with heavy eye makeup. It IS beige and does not make me look muddy or sick and tired but actually compliment my skin tone. It’s creamy and give full coverage. Call me boring! but yes, it is a safe colour in my opinion.  I always find myself go back to this colour. LOVE it and will repurchase if i ever ran out of it. 

My opinion on Bobbi Brown’s Lipsticks: They are loads of gorgeous earth colour, non drying like MAC which make my lips chapped but do not moisturize as well and VERY high-priced.

I do not know what but there’s something about Bobbbi Brown that i love and make me want to have more. Pssst… I even have the Member’s card :P I’m currently waiting for my new Bobbi Brown Lip Color Lipsticks in Soft Rose, Sandwash Pink and Nude to arrive ;)

My family was participating this last night, we switched off almost all the lights in the house. though, it was only 80% success. My mom was not being supportive and did not co-operate with us, she switched on some of the lights in between 8.30pm until 9.30pm. Gaaah! it was just for an hour, she could not bother to wait.

Earth Hour is not only about switching off the lights. There are more that can be done! so we switched off the air-conditioners and all other electricities. Except the television and air conditioner in the living room… and err… the modem and router. I can’t survive without the internet!  

I do think that Earth Hour is a great incentive ;)
